11. California Privacy Rights

Because Ink & Restore is located in California and serves California consumers, we provide this California-specific section.

A. CalOPPA Disclosures

Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is not a uniform industry standard for recognizing or responding to these signals, the Ink & Restore website does not currently respond to all browser "Do Not Track" signals.

We may use or allow analytics, security, and similar tools that collect information about website activity over time. Some third-party services may collect information across different websites or online services, subject to their own privacy practices.

C. California Shine the Light Law

Under California's "Shine the Light" Law, California Civil Code section 1798.83, certain California residents may request information about whether a business has disclosed certain personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year.

Ink & Restore does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. California residents may still send questions about this section to hello@inkandrestore.com.

If Ink & Restore becomes subject to the CCPA/CPRA, eligible California residents may have additional rights, such as the right to know, access, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

Even where the CCPA/CPRA does not legally apply, Ink & Restore will make reasonable efforts to respond to privacy requests when feasible and legally appropriate.

14. Data Security

Ink & Restore uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

However, no website, email system, online form, or electronic storage method is completely secure. You should avoid submitting highly sensitive, urgent, or emergency information through the website.

The website consultation form is designed for appointment and consultation requests. It is not intended for emergency medical communications or the submission of detailed medical records.

If you voluntarily provide information about your skin, scars, stretch marks, pregnancy-related skin concerns, treatment history, or other personal details, we will use that information to respond to your inquiry and prepare for your consultation.

If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice where appropriate, such as by posting a notice on the website or contacting you through information you provided.

Your continued use of the website after an updated Privacy Policy is posted means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.

20. Governing Law
